Five Huskers Earn AVCA All-Region Honors

Five Nebraska volleyball players were recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) with All-Region honors, including Lexi Rodriguez, who made history as the first libero to be named West Region Player of the Year. Rodriguez, now a four-time AVCA All-Region honoree, aims to become just the third Husker in history to achieve four-time All-American status. Joining her on the AVCA West All-Region Team are Merritt Beason, Andi Jackson, Harper Murray, and Bergen Reilly, all of whom have been recognized previously. The Huskers, currently ranked No. 3, are set to compete against No. 23 Dayton in an NCAA regional semifinal. Rodriguez's accolades include being a three-time team captain and ranking second in career digs at Nebraska. Beason also earned her third AVCA All-Region honor, showcasing the team's depth and talent heading into the postseason.
