Shah, a prominent figure in cricket administration and head of the ICC's Finance and Commercial Affairs sub-committee, has significant support among voting members. His potential move to ICC will coincide with the end of his term as BCCI secretary, after which he is subject to a mandatory cooling-off period starting in October 2025.
