Guy Pearce Hopes to Rejoin Nolan Films

Despite Nolan's interest in casting Pearce for 'Batman Begins' and 'The Prestige', this executive openly stated he would not employ Pearce, which hindered Pearce's opportunities with Warner Bros., as evidenced by his trip to London for a role in 'Batman Begins', ultimately given to Liam Neeson. Nolan's professional relationship with Warner Bros. ended in 2020, which could potentially open future collaborations for Pearce with Nolan, who is now working with Universal Pictures. Pearce remarked that while disappointing, understanding the executive's stance was somewhat relieving, as it explained his absence from Nolan's projects.
