Carolina Hurricanes forward Andrei Svechnikov will miss the upcoming four-game road trip due to an undisclosed injury, which is classified as precautionary by head coach Rod Brind'Amour. This decision follows Svechnikov's early exit in Wednesday's game against the Washington Capitals, where he played just 8:39 minutes. The 25-year-old winger had previously missed seven games due to an upper-body injury, raising concerns that his current issue may be related. Svechnikov ranks fourth on the team with 45 points this season, contributing significantly to the Hurricanes, who have already clinched a playoff spot. His anticipated return could be as early as April 12 against the New York Rangers. In the meantime, teammate Eric Robinson is expected to fill his role in the lineup.
