Dutch Bros Headquarters Moving to Tempe, Arizona

Dutch Bros, the coffee chain founded in Grants Pass, Oregon, is relocating its headquarters to Tempe, Arizona, aiming to position the company closer to its fastest-growing markets in Texas and the Southeast and gain better access to talent and transportation. The move follows CEO Christine Barone's appointment in 2024 and the earlier shift of significant support staff to Arizona. While Dutch Bros will retain its roasting facility and philanthropic efforts in Oregon, the relocation represents a symbolic loss for the state, with local lawmakers expressing concern about Oregon's business climate. Company executives cite operational efficiencies and improved support for customers and employees as primary motivations. The transition is expected to cost up to $31 million, mostly for employee-related expenses, and the company is now valued at $11.8 billion. Dutch Bros operates over 1,000 locations nationwide and aims to expand to more than 4,000 shops across the country.
