Butler Tops Missouri State 72-65 in Opener

Butler University emerged victorious in their season opener, defeating Missouri State 72-65. Jahmyl Telfort led Butler with an impressive 29 points, shooting 7 of 12 from the field and 4 of 6 from three-point range. He significantly contributed to Butler's early lead with 16 points in the first half, and his free throw at 6:47 in the second half secured the lead at 57-56.
