Irish jockey Jack Kennedy, 25, has broken his leg for the sixth time following a fall at Fairyhouse where his horse, Twoohthree, suffered a fatal injury. The incident occurred during the opening race for trainer Gordon Elliott, resulting in Kennedy fracturing his lower tibia, which requires surgery. Despite his injury history, including previous leg breaks and multiple falls, Kennedy has had a successful career, including winning the Cheltenham Gold Cup in 2021. Medical officials confirmed that he was in good spirits despite the circumstances and expressed gratitude for the support he has received. Kennedy's recovery will sideline him for several months, but he remains optimistic about returning for the 2025 Cheltenham Festival. His replacement for the Hatton's Grace Hurdle will be Sam Ewing.
