Ontario Man Charged with Sexual Assault on Toddler During Home Break-In

Daniel Senecal, a 25-year-old man from Welland, Ontario, was arrested and charged after breaking into a family's home and sexually assaulting a child under the age of five. The incident occurred overnight, with the child's parents unaware until the following morning when they found their child injured and the front door forced open. Surveillance footage from a neighbor helped police identify and apprehend Senecal, who faces multiple charges including aggravated sexual assault, assault, assault by choking, breaking and entering, and sexual interference with a person under 16. The child was transported to a hospital outside the region for advanced medical care and is currently in stable condition.
