Hull FC Prop Ligi Sao Signs One-Year Extension After Knee Injury

Ligi Sao, the Hull FC prop forward, has signed a new one-year contract extension that will keep him with the club through the 2026 Super League season. The 32-year-old suffered a serious knee injury in February 2025, limiting him to just two appearances this season, but he is expected to return fully fit for pre-season training in November. Hull FC's head coach John Cartwright praised Sao's progress in rehabilitation, noting that he is in arguably the best physical shape of his career and has also been a supportive leader during his recovery.
