Four Men Indicted in 2016 Westwood Bounty Killing Cold Case

Four men—Darius Holley, Charlie Dailey, Romello Wheeler, and Brandon Webster—were indicted nearly nine years after the 2016 shooting death of Kareem Howell in Cincinnati, a case recently solved using new technology. Prosecutors revealed Howell was targeted due to his involvement in home invasions, including one where Webster's mother was a victim, prompting Wheeler and Webster to place a $30,000 bounty on Howell's life. Dailey and Holley carried out the shooting after leading Howell into the woods, and upon proof of the killing, were paid the bounty by Wheeler and Webster. Three of the four suspects are currently incarcerated for unrelated offenses, with Dailey and Holley in local and state prisons, while warrants are out for Webster's arrest; Wheeler is serving a federal drug trafficking sentence. Charges against the men include aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, and aggravated robbery.
