Benefit Concerts Organized for Hurricane Helene Relief
In response to Hurricane Helene's devastation in Western North Carolina, multiple organizations and artists are coming together to raise funds for relief efforts. Creatives for WNC launched a silent auction featuring 150 items, with proceeds benefiting BeLoved Asheville and Bear Wolf Animal Rescue. Additionally, a concert at Artspace Hamilton Lofts in Ohio was held to support the American Red Cross and the Appalachian Helene Response Fund. A benefit concert titled Music for the Mountains will take place on October 27th at the Red Hat Amphitheater, with ticket sales supporting recovery efforts through The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina. Furthermore, 49 Winchester is set to perform a benefit concert on November 30th in Tennessee, with proceeds going to Second Harvest Food Bank. Lastly, the Montgomery Museum's Cultural Crossroads concert on November 6th will donate 20% of ticket sales to Mountain Ways, aiding victims of flooding from the hurricane.
