Multiple US Little League Teams Honored With Parades After World Series Runs

The Summerlin South Little League team, which won the U.S. championship and finished as runner-up in the Little League World Series after losing to Chinese Taipei in the final, will be honored with a parade in Downtown Summerlin on Wednesday evening. Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter, who has ties to Las Vegas and supports youth baseball, will host the parade, having also donated $5,000 to help families attend the World Series. The team’s impressive season record was 15-2, and their success has generated widespread community pride and celebration. Other communities are also hosting parades to honor local baseball teams, such as the Eastern Utah Battle team in Price, Utah, recognized for their sportsmanship, and Fairfield National Little League in Connecticut, which made a strong run to the U.S. championship before falling to Summerlin South. These events celebrate the players’ achievements, sportsmanship, and the community spirit inspired by their performances on the national and international stages.
