Lewis Hamilton Joins Ferrari for 2025 Season

Lewis Hamilton, a seven-time F1 world champion, is set to join Ferrari in 2025 after twelve successful seasons with Mercedes. Despite hopes of testing a Ferrari at the post-season Abu Dhabi tests, Hamilton's commitments with Mercedes and its sponsor Petronas have ruled this out. Instead, Ferrari plans to conduct Testing of Previous Cars (TPC) days, where Hamilton will drive older models, like the 2022 car, to acclimatize ahead of the 2025 season. Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur expressed confidence in Hamilton's ability to adapt quickly due to his vast experience. The Fiorano track will be used for these tests, providing a private space for Hamilton to familiarize himself with the team and car. This strategic preparation aims to set Hamilton up for a strong start in the 2025 season.
