Nainggolan Arrested in Brussels-Led Cocaine Probe

Former Belgian footballer Radja Nainggolan has been arrested in connection with a cocaine trafficking investigation led by the Brussels public prosecutor's office. The probe targets cocaine importation from South America to Europe via Antwerp's port. Nainggolan, who recently joined second-tier Belgian team Lokeren-Temse, was one of 16 individuals detained following extensive raids in Antwerp and Brussels. The police seized 2.7 kilos of cocaine, 370,000 euros in cash, luxury items, and firearms during the operation. Lokeren-Temse stated they learned of Nainggolan's arrest from the media and emphasized the presumption of innocence. Nainggolan, known for his fiery character, has previously played for top Italian clubs and the Belgian national team.
