Police Appeal After 4-Year-Old Boy Spotted Riding Bike Alone in Dundee Industrial Area

Police in Dundee are appealing for information after a young boy, aged between four and six, was seen riding a distinctive lime green BMX bike alone in the Kings Cross Road and Kingsway Retail Park areas. The boy was described as wearing a white jumper, shorts, and purple trainers, with short blonde hair. Officers responded to reports around 3:20 p.m. but the child was no longer in the area upon their arrival. Authorities are seeking to confirm the boy's safety and are asking anyone who recognizes the description or the bike to contact the police. They also request that the boy's carers come forward to confirm his well-being. The incident is being investigated under the reference 2038 of October 18, 2025.
