Wynn Resorts to Acquire Crown London Casino

Wynn Resorts has announced its acquisition of Crown London Aspinalls, a prestigious members-only casino located in London's Mayfair district, with the transaction expected to close in the second half of 2025, pending regulatory approvals. The deal marks Wynn's first foray into the European casino market, as it seeks to leverage the London venue to attract high-end clientele to its upcoming Wynn Al Marjan Island resort in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, set to open in early 2027. The Crown London casino, which features 20 gaming tables and a restaurant, will operate under its current name until the acquisition is finalized. Crown Resorts' CEO David Tsai emphasized that this sale aligns with their strategy to focus on Australian assets. The financial terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed. This move highlights Wynn's strategy to connect its luxury brand with affluent international gamblers, particularly those from the Middle East.
