Looney Tunes Movie Streams on Max, HBO in June

The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie, the franchise's first fully animated feature-length film, will stream on Max (which will soon be rebranded as HBO Max) beginning June 27 and air on HBO on June 28 at 8 p.m. ET. Directed by Pete Browngardt and produced by Warner Bros. Animation and Ketchup Entertainment, the film stars Porky Pig and Daffy Duck as they confront an alien mind control scheme. The movie, originally intended for streaming, was instead released theatrically in March. Voice actors include Eric Bauza, Candi Milo, Peter MacNicol, Wayne Knight, and Laraine Newman. This release follows a period of uncertainty for Looney Tunes content on streaming platforms. The film can be watched on Max via its subscription tiers or during the HBO linear broadcast.
