Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has withdrawn his children's book, 'Billy and the Epic Escape,' following significant backlash from Indigenous Australian leaders who criticized it for perpetuating stereotypes and erasing the experiences of First Nations peoples. The 400-page fantasy novel features an Aboriginal girl with mystical powers living in foster care, a plot point deemed particularly insensitive in light of Australia's historical Stolen Generations. Oliver expressed his devastation over the offense caused and emphasized that it was never his intention to misinterpret such a painful issue. The publishers, Penguin Random House, acknowledged an
