Clayton Keller Leads Utah Hockey as First Captain

Clayton Keller has been named the first captain of the newly established Utah Hockey Club as it prepares for its inaugural NHL season. At 26, Keller is one of the youngest captains in NHL history for a franchise's first season, recognized for his leadership on and off the ice and his impressive track record as a four-time NHL All-Star. Previously with the Arizona Coyotes, Keller led the team with 33 goals and 43 assists last season. The Utah Hockey Club, formed after acquiring assets from the Coyotes, aims to build a strong fanbase and market presence, with Keller seen as a pivotal figure in achieving this. The team will play its first game at the Delta Center against the Chicago Blackhawks, sharing the arena with the Utah Jazz until they secure a dedicated venue.
