Coroner Rules Death of Michael Mosley Indeterminate

An inquest into the death of broadcaster Dr. Michael Mosley, who died in June on the Greek island of Symi, has concluded that his cause of death remains 'indeterminate' and 'unascertainable'. Senior Coroner Crispin Butler noted that Mosley's death was likely due to heatstroke or an unidentified medical condition, ruling out homicide, suicide, or injuries. Mosley, 67, had left his mobile phone behind to avoid it getting wet and was described as energetic when he set out for a walk after a day spent at Pedi Beach. His body was discovered four days later following a search, and toxicology results showed no significant findings. The coroner's report emphasized that no specific medical history could explain his sudden collapse. His death on June 5, 2024, occurred in a rocky area near Agia Marina Beach under high temperatures.
