HyperStrong, Repono Formalize Partnership for 1.4GWh Energy Storage Across Europe by 2027

China-based battery energy storage system (BESS) provider HyperStrong and European project developer Repono have formed a strategic partnership to jointly advance 1.4 GWh of grid-scale energy storage projects across Europe by 2027. This collaboration aims to support an additional 400 MW of renewable power on the European grid, contributing approximately 0.4% toward Europe's 2030 renewable energy targets. The partnership combines Repono's strengths in project development, site permitting, and grid interconnection with HyperStrong's full-scope system integration capabilities and lifecycle services. Both firms will engage in joint planning and technical-commercial alignment to accelerate deployment and enhance grid stability, reflecting a shared commitment to Europe's energy transition and industrial resilience. Executives from both companies emphasized their complementary expertise and long-term dedication to advancing safe, high-performance, and cost-effective energy storage infrastructure across the continent.
