Airman Charged with Coercing 9-Year-Old into Sharing Explicit Images

David Ibarra, a 31-year-old U.S. airman, has been charged with coercing a 9-year-old girl into sharing sexually explicit images after he posed as a 13-year-old online. The girl, who lives on Long Island, met Ibarra on TikTok and later communicated with him on Roblox, where he manipulated her into sending explicit content, allegedly paying her $191 through Apple Pay. The girl's mother discovered the situation and posed as her older sister to gather more information, leading to Ibarra's identification through his phone records and iCloud account. Prosecutors state that Ibarra has admitted to coercing other minors as well. He is currently being held in custody pending trial on charges including sexual exploitation of a child. Military disciplinary actions against Ibarra are also expected as he remains in an unpaid status since his arrest in February.
