In Jalandhar, authorities apprehended four individuals involved in cross-border heroin smuggling, seizing 10kg of heroin linked to drug networks operating from Pakistan. Meanwhile, the Naharlagun Police arrested a suspect with 12.6 grams of heroin, as part of their ongoing Operation Dawn. Additionally, an army deserter connected to a major heroin smuggling operation was captured in Punjab, leading to the recovery of 12.5 kg of heroin. These operations underscore intensified efforts to combat drug trafficking and dismantle organized networks involved in this illicit trade.
