Winners Announced for Barclays Women's Championship Awards

The Barclays Women’s Championship has announced its September award winners, with Birmingham City's Lucy Quinn earning Player of the Month after scoring two goals and providing two assists in significant victories. London City Lionesses' Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah won Goal of the Month for her long-range strike against Bristol City, while Charlton Athletic's Karen Hills was named Manager of the Month after guiding her team to four consecutive wins. Meanwhile, voting is now open for the BBC Women’s Footballer of the Year 2024, featuring five shortlisted players, including Barbra Banda and Aitana Bonmati, with voting closing on October 28. This marks the award's tenth anniversary, celebrating the growth of women's football over the past decade. Additionally, the TG4 Players' Player of the Year Awards nominees have been revealed, highlighting standout performances from Kayleigh Cronin, Nicola Ward, and Lauren McConville among others.
