Twitch Overhauls Mobile App with New Features

Twitch has announced a significant update to its mobile app, rolling out this week, that aims to enhance the user experience by incorporating a TikTok-style content feed. The updated app will now open to a 'Home' tab featuring personalized stream recommendations, making it easier for the 50% of users who primarily watch on mobile to discover both familiar and new streamers. Additional features include a 'Browse' tab for content categories, an 'Activity' tab for notifications, and a 'Profile' tab for managing subscriptions. A new Creator+ tab has also been introduced, enabling streamers to go live and manage their content directly from the app. Twitch emphasizes its commitment to continually improving the mobile experience, targeting the growing mobile user base.
