A tractor accident involving two hay wagons at Bushel and a Peck Apple Orchard in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, left 25 people injured, including children on a field trip from St. Mark Lutheran School in Eau Claire. The incident occurred Wednesday morning when the wagons rolled over. Emergency responders enacted a mass casualty protocol, and multiple agencies, including a Mayo Clinic helicopter, assisted in transporting the injured to various hospitals. While three individuals sustained life-threatening injuries, five had serious injuries, and the rest had less severe injuries. Sheriff Travis Hakes confirmed there were no fatalities and emphasized the importance of reuniting children with their families. The scene has since been cleared, and the investigation continues.
