Francesco Friedrich wins 7th consecutive 4-man bobsleigh world title in Lake Placid

Francesco Friedrich of Germany secured his 20th major title by winning gold in the 4-man bobsleigh at the IBSF World Championships 2025 in Lake Placid, marking his seventh consecutive World Championship victory in this category. Friedrich's time of 2:44.52 seconds placed him ahead of fellow German Johannes Lochner, who finished second at 2:44.80, and Britain's Brad Hall, who took bronze with a time of 2:45.00. This victory adds to Friedrich's remarkable record of winning all 17 of his major international races this season, including 10 gold medals.
