Met Office issues weather warning as UK braces for heavy rain

The rain is expected to cause longer journey times due to road spray and flooding, and there may be interruptions to power supplies. Although some areas will experience sunny spells, the overall conditions are set to be changeable, with heavy rain moving north across western Britain. Residents are advised to prepare for potential flooding and check their travel plans as conditions deteriorate.
