Austin FC transfers Sebastián Driussi to River Plate

Austin FC has confirmed the transfer of star midfielder Sebastián Driussi back to Club Atlético River Plate for a reported fee of $10 million, marking a significant move for both the player and the club. Driussi, who scored a record 51 goals and provided 22 assists in 115 appearances for Austin FC, will leave a notable legacy after three-and-a-half years with the team. His departure opens a Designated Player spot for Austin FC, which currently has two remaining DPs.
