His departure follows the announcement of Adrian Newey's exit, marking significant changes in Red Bull's leadership. Audi, taking over the Sauber team, aims to make a strong entry into F1 in 2026 and has also secured former Ferrari boss Mattia Binotto. Wheatley and Binotto will form a dual management structure, with Wheatley overseeing the racing team and Binotto managing technical aspects. Red Bull plans to announce its new team structure soon as it prepares for these transitions.
