A 43-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following a fatal house explosion in Worksop, which resulted in the death of 53-year-old David Howard. Emergency services responded to the incident on John Street at 7:39 PM, declaring a major incident as they evacuated nearby residents. Howard was found deceased under the debris, while two neighboring properties partially collapsed and eight others sustained damage. Investigators from Nottinghamshire Police are currently examining the cause of the explosion, which remains unclear, and have kept an open mind regarding any potential criminal elements.
