Amazon Prime Develops Reacher Spinoff Series

Amazon Prime Video is developing a spinoff series centered on Frances Neagley, a fan-favorite character from the hit series 'Reacher,' which follows ex-military police major Jack Reacher. Maria Sten will reprise her role as Neagley, who has become a compelling character through her history with Reacher and her unique challenges, including haptephobia. The spinoff is being fast-tracked, with Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton collaborating as co-showrunners, building on their successful partnership from 'Prison Break.' Meanwhile, 'Reacher' Season 3 is confirmed to be in production, based on the seventh book in Lee Child's series, titled 'Persuader.' The second season of 'Reacher' was a major success, becoming the number one title on Prime Video worldwide upon its release, prompting the expansion of the franchise. Amazon has not yet made an official announcement regarding the spinoff but is expected to do so soon.
