Xaivian Lee Transfers to Florida from Princeton
Xaivian Lee, a standout point guard from Princeton and two-time unanimous First Team All-Ivy selection, has announced he will transfer to national champion Florida for his senior season. Lee averaged 16.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.5 assists last season, becoming the first player in Princeton history to record two triple-doubles. He selected Florida over Kansas and St. John's after visits and is considered one of the top point guards in the transfer portal. Lee will help fill the void left by Walter Clayton Jr., Florida's All-America guard who has entered the NBA draft. The Toronto native is also entering the NBA draft process but is expected to be a starting playmaker for the Gators. His transfer is part of a trend of Ivy League stars moving to major programs before exhausting eligibility.
