Police Seek Woman Who Broke Door at Centennial Animal Services
The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office is seeking public assistance to identify a woman who attempted to break into Centennial Animal Services on June 27. The woman, described as 25 to 35 years old with dark blonde hair, was seen arriving in a silver or gray four-door sedan with a light-colored Labrador Retriever mix dog, and was wearing a pink shirt, black pants or leggings, and sunglasses. After knocking loudly and pacing for about 30 minutes, she retrieved a tire iron from her car and shattered the front glass door in an effort to enter but was unable to get past a second locked door. The incident caused an estimated $8,000 to $10,000 in damages. She eventually left the scene with her dog and drove away. If identified, she faces charges of felony criminal mischief and criminal trespassing, and authorities encourage anyone with information to contact the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office Investigation Tip Line.
