AFCON 2025 Match Schedule Released Ahead of Finals

The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 is set to take place in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, marking the country's first time hosting since 1988. The tournament will feature 24 teams competing in six groups of four, with the top two from each group and four best third-placed teams advancing to the knockout stages. The opening match will see Morocco face Comoros at the Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah in Rabat, which has a capacity of 69,500. A total of 52 matches will be played across six cities, including Casablanca, Agadir, Marrakech, Fes, and Tangier. The knockout phase will begin on January 4, 2026, culminating with the final match in Rabat on January 18, 2026. This tournament is instrumental for Morocco as it prepares to co-host the FIFA World Cup 2030 with Spain and Portugal.
