Four-Vehicle Crash Injures Three Tucson Southwest Side

Emergency crews responded to two separate multi-vehicle crashes over the weekend. In Lufkin, Texas, an 18-wheeler overturned on the off-ramp of U.S. 59 and N. Medford Drive involving a driver and his dog, both unharmed. Meanwhile, on Tucson's southwest side, a serious crash involving three to four vehicles occurred at the intersection of Ajo Way and Kinney Road. The Pima County Sheriff's Department reported one person with life-threatening injuries and two others with non-life-threatening injuries transported to the hospital. The crash led to lane closures on southbound Kinney Road and nearby turn lanes, with emergency crews urging caution in the area. Multiple local agencies including the Drexel Heights Fire District, Arizona Department of Public Safety, and Pima County Sheriff's Department responded to the Tucson incident.
