Despite being part of a list of celebrities using semaglutides, including Elon Musk, Burruss did not find the drug effective and switched back to Hydroxycut. The drug, costing between $600 and $1,300, can have unknown long-term effects like pancreatitis and is primarily prescribed to severely overweight type 2 diabetes patients. Burruss found that Ozempic did not curb her appetite, leading her to stop using it and opt for Hydroxycut, resulting in a 10-pound weight loss within weeks.
