Marco Bezzecchi Hospitalized After Crash in Australia

MotoGP driver Marco Bezzecchi was airlifted to a Melbourne hospital after a severe crash during the Australian Grand Prix at Phillip Island, where he collided with Maverick Vinales at approximately 120mph. The incident occurred at the first corner, resulting in both riders being thrown from their bikes and skidding into a gravel trap. Thankfully, Bezzecchi was reported to have no fractures, although he was immobilized for a brief period. Vinales, who also suffered an elbow injury, expressed dissatisfaction with Bezzecchi's actions leading to the collision, suggesting he didn't brake in time. Both riders returned to compete in the race on Sunday, finishing in 8th and last places, respectively. In the meantime, Jorge Martin extended his championship lead with a dominant performance in the sprint race on Saturday.
