Djokovic, Investors Acquire Stake in Le Mans FC
Novak Djokovic, along with former Formula 1 drivers Felipe Massa and Kevin Magnussen, has become a part-owner of French Ligue 2 club Le Mans FC as part of an investment group. The consortium also includes OutField, a Latin American sports investment firm, and Georgios Frangulis, CEO of OakBerry and partner of tennis star Aryna Sabalenka. Le Mans club officials underscored the value these high-profile athletes and businessmen bring, expected to enhance the club’s profile and bridge football with motorsport. No financial terms of the deal have been disclosed. The investment coincides with Le Mans FC's 40th anniversary as the club prepares for the new Ligue 2 season starting August 9. Djokovic and his fellow investors are anticipated to provide both financial support and sports expertise.
