Tavatanakit, Knapp Win Grant Thornton Invitational

Patty Tavatanakit and Jake Knapp claimed a one-shot victory at the Grant Thornton Invitational, a mixed PGA and LPGA Tour event held at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida. The duo finished the tournament with a score of 27-under 189, earning them a $1 million prize. The event featured a unique format over three days, including a scramble, alternate shot, and modified four-ball play. Jeeno Thitikul and Tom Kim finished second at 26-under, while Jennifer Kupcho and Akshay Bhatia placed third after a late bogey. Tavatanakit and Knapp, who both secured victories earlier this year on their respective tours, demonstrated strong chemistry and putt performance throughout the tournament. This marks the second year of the co-sanctioned event, emphasizing equal prize money and visibility for both tours.
