Couple Caught on Elephant Sculpture in Miami

Ahead of Art Basel in Miami Beach, a couple was caught engaging in 'loud sex' on top of a large elephant sculpture from the Great Elephant Migration installation. A security guard, alerted by strange noises, discovered the couple on the sculpture and chose to let them leave without involving the police. The incident occurred on November 25, with the guard simply asking them to vacate the premises. In a related event, a rapper connected to DJ Khalid was also spotted attempting to film a music video among the sculptures at 4 a.m. and was similarly let go with a warning. Following these incidents, security around the installation has been heightened to prevent further rule violations. The Great Elephant Migration features 100 life-sized sculptures made from an invasive plant species, aimed at promoting human-wildlife coexistence and supporting conservation efforts.
