Channel 4 Taskmaster Announces Star-Studded Series 20 Line-Up

Channel 4 has announced the contestants for the 20th series of the BAFTA-winning comedy competition show Taskmaster, which also marks its tenth anniversary. The star-studded line-up includes comedians Ania Magliano, Maisie Adam, Phil Ellis, as well as actors and writers Reece Shearsmith and Sanjeev Bhaskar. Hosted again by Greg Davies and Alex Horne, the contestants will compete in outrageous and playful challenges to become the Taskmaster Champion. The series will air later this year, with a run of ten episodes, although the exact release date is yet to be announced. In addition to the show, Taskmaster is collaborating with English Heritage to bring challenge events to 17 historic sites across the UK during the summer, and has launched an educational initiative called Taskmaster Club 100 to engage secondary school students in creative skills. The show continues to enjoy broad appeal, noted for bringing families together and spawning international versions and live experiences.
