Multiple Free Jazz Festivals Expand Music, Community Reach Across US

Several jazz festivals and events are taking place across the United States this summer, offering diverse experiences for jazz enthusiasts. The Detroit Jazz Festival, the world’s largest free jazz festival, will be held over Labor Day weekend with expanded offerings at the Gretchen C. Valade Jazz Center at Wayne State University, including performances by the John Scofield Trio and Nicholas Payton.
