TUI Plans Lapland Christmas Day Trips From 11 UK Airports

TUI UK&I is expanding its popular 'Search for Santa' day trips to Lapland for the 2026 festive season, offering flights from 11 regional UK airports including Glasgow, Cardiff, Bristol, London Gatwick, Manchester, Newcastle, Bournemouth, East Midlands, and others. These one-day trips provide families the chance to visit Finnish Lapland and return home the same night, with packages starting around £720 to £750 per person. The all-inclusive experience features return flights with festive meals such as a traditional English breakfast on the outbound flight and a Christmas roast dinner on the return, thermal clothing for Arctic conditions, and comprehensive ground transfers. Visitors will enjoy a range of winter activities including husky and reindeer sleigh rides, snowmobiling, tobogganing, and visits to the Snow Village, an ice hotel with sculptures and an ice bar. A private meeting with Santa Claus and a gift for every child are highlights of the trip, along with storytelling by local Lapland residents and cultural experiences such as learning Finnish greetings.
