Michigan Father Arrested for Home Burglary Involving 11-Year-Old Daughter

Andre Stephon-Curtis Broadenax, a 29-year-old man from Detroit, Michigan, allegedly stole a car and used it to attempt a home burglary while forcing his 11-year-old daughter to assist him. The break-in occurred at a home under renovation on Marquette Drive, where the homeowner's son interrupted the crime, prompting Broadenax to flee on foot and abandon both the stolen car and his daughter. Police later apprehended Broadenax, who faces numerous felony charges including first- and second-degree home invasion, larceny, receiving and concealing a motor vehicle, inducing a minor to commit a felony, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
