Man United Sign Diego Leon, Eye More Moves
Manchester United have finalized the signing of 18-year-old Paraguayan left-back Diego Leon from Cerro Porteno, in a deal reportedly worth up to £7 million including add-ons. Leon becomes United's second summer signing following Matheus Cunha, with the transfer agreement reached in January but completed after Leon turned 18. He is expected to split his time between the first team and academy as he adapts to English football. New manager Ruben Amorim is emphasizing youth as part of United's transfer strategy. United are also actively pursuing Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo after two rejected bids and may allow players such as Marcus Rashford to seek transfers. Additionally, the club is considering a free move for former Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin amid financial constraints.
