Two Arrested in Belmont Shore Fatal Shooting Following Bar Dispute

Jason Lamar Loving, 41, of Harbor City, and Dasmine Hall, 31, of Compton, have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of Jeremy Anthony Spears, 32, in Belmont Shore, Long Beach, following a dispute that began at a local bar and escalated outside. Loving faces charges including murder, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and violating a restraining order, while Hall faces charges of murder and accessory to murder; both have bail set at $2 million. The shooting occurred early morning on October 25, 2025, in the 100 block of La Verne Avenue, where Spears died from a gunshot wound. Loving allegedly pulled a handgun during the altercation and fled the scene in a vehicle with Hall.
