Stevenage Sign Wycombe Forwards Lubala, Pattenden

Stevenage has strengthened its squad by signing two players from League One rivals Wycombe Wanderers: forward Beryly Lubala and defender Jasper Pattenden. Lubala, 27, who scored 10 goals in 35 appearances last season and has experience at clubs including Birmingham City, Crawley Town, and Blackpool, was a key target for Stevenage and had attracted interest from other clubs. Pattenden, a former Worthing defender who joined Wycombe in 2022 and won their community player of the year award in 2023-24, also decided to join Stevenage after being highly regarded for his work ethic and personality at Wycombe.
