Recorded with a full live band at Smoakstack Studios, "Somebody Else’s" was produced by Scott Hendricks and marks Stefani's first solo release in over eight years, following her 2016 album "This Is What the Truth Feels Like." The single serves as a precursor to the album's ten-song tracklist, which includes a collaboration with her husband, Blake Shelton.
