Nebraska, San Diego State, Oklahoma Softball Players Earn Weekly Honors

Several college softball players received accolades this week after impressive performances. Nebraska's Jordy Bahl was named Big Ten co-pitcher of the week, pitching a no-hitter and striking out 13, while teammate Ava Kuszak earned co-player of the week honors after hitting six home runs over the weekend. In the Mountain West, San Diego State's Lala Macario and Cece Cellura were recognized as Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, after leading their team to a perfect 5-0 record, including victories over ranked opponents. Oklahoma's Ella Parker and Sam Landry were honored as SEC co-players of the week, with Parker boasting a .750 batting average and Landry achieving a perfect game against Baylor.
